1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Script to Film (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

Script to Film is a production-readiness marketplace that connects screenwriters with producers through IP protection, feasibility intelligence, demand matching, and deal execution infrastructure. The Platform facilitates discovery and deal-making but does not guarantee any outcomes.

3. User Accounts

You must register for an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account per role.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Writer Content: You retain full ownership of all scripts and creative materials you upload. By uploading, you grant Script to Film a limited license to store, process (including AI analysis), and display your content within the Platform for the purposes of feasibility analysis, matching, and viewer access.

Platform IP: All Platform technology, branding, and design are the property of Script to Film and may not be reproduced without permission.

5. IP Protection Services

The Platform provides cryptographic hashing, timestamping, watermarking, and access logging as protective measures. These are supplementary protections and do not constitute legal registration of copyright. Writers are encouraged to register works with the appropriate copyright office.

6. NDA and Access Terms

Producers must accept NDA terms before accessing script content. Violation of NDA terms, including unauthorized distribution of watermarked content, may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

7. Subscription and Fees

Subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise stated. Transaction fees apply to completed option agreements and script purchases as described on the Pricing page. All fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Uploading content you do not own or have rights to distribute.
  • Attempting to circumvent IP protection measures.
  • Redistributing watermarked script content.
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
  • Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease, but your uploaded content hashes and timestamps will be preserved as immutable records.

10. Limitation of Liability

Script to Film provides the Platform “as is.” We do not guarantee deals, options, purchases, or any specific outcomes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.
